Miriam (Mimmy) F. Cooper – Founder/Manager – Cooper Lapman Financial, LLC

Miriam (Mimmy) is Founder and Manager of Cooper Lapman Financial, LLC, in Boston, Massachusetts.  Her firm provides personal investment and financial services.

Mimmy’s previous position was Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President and Member of the Board of Directors at Independence Investments LLC, a company that manages US equity portfolios for a selected group of institutional clients. Mimmy has over 30 years of investment management and financial services experience and is capable of accessing and determining strategies and the course of actions necessary to achieve the desired outcomes.

Prior to joining Independence Investments, Mimmy was in charge of Marketing and Client Services at Panagora Asset Management, Inc. She managed a staff and directed all aspects of the company’s marketing and client service activities including advertising and public relations functions. She also has had experience in recruiting and training a sales force, business reorganization, corporate business planning, as well as budget and operation reviews.

She holds an MBA from Boston College with Finance Concentration and a BS (Magna Cum Laude) from Lesley University.

In addition to serving on the GOHF Board of Directors, Mimmy enjoys keeping abreast of health and well being issues, reading and book group discussions, personal financial planning and just kicking back with her family at her NH lake house.
