Julie DiCarlo - Fleishman-Hillard

Julie DiCarlo is a Senior Vice President with international communications firm Fleishman-Hillard. She joined the firm in 2000, bringing with her extensive background in corporate communications and reputation management. Julie has developed and implemented complex communication programs and supported a broad range of clients, in areas including healthcare, technology, academia, consumer products and retail.

Prior to joining Fleishman-Hillard, Julie served as corporate communications executive for Houston Cellular, the leading wireless service provider in Houston. In that role, Julie designed the company’s communications department and oversaw all aspects of public relations, employee communications and government affairs.

Previously, she served as corporate communications manager for MCI WorldCom. Working from the company’s headquarters in Washington, D.C., Julie launched and managed national initiatives designed to open local markets to competition and developed strategic partnerships with business and government leaders in more than 30 markets nationwide.

Julie’s career began at WHSV-TV, an ABC-affiliate in Virginia, where she worked as a general assignments reporter and anchor.

Julie received her b.a. in journalism from Towson University.
