Andrew Nelson - XCOR Aerospace

Andrew is Chief Operating Officer of XCOR Aerospace, a firm that is leading the way to accessing low earth orbit space for small satellites, personal space flight, reconnaisance and scienctific pursuits using a highly re-usable, low cost-to-operate propulsion system. Prior to joining XCOR, Andrew was a private banker with Morgan Stanley and with Lehman Brothers. He has also held leadership positions abroad with Booz Allen&Hamilton, an international management and strategy consulting firm, where he worked on international standards&policy development in the telecommunications industry, and in the aerospace industry with the MITRE Corporation, where he worked on engineering navigation systems aboard missile tracking platforms out of Cape Canaveral and the Pacific.

He holds an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management (specializing in entrepreneurship and finance) and a BS in electrical engineering from Ohio University where he was a researcher in the famed Avionics Engineering Center. Andrew is married to Linda and has two children.
