Sarah Sommer - Boston Scientific

Sarah brings over a decade of expertise in marketing, foundation relations, strategic planning, program development, and information services with various health and disability related organizations such as the Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (AGBell).

Due to her personal experiences as a profoundly, prelingually deaf adult who benefits tremendously from cochlear implant technology, Sarah is highly committed to promoting hearing loss issues, and has served on the Board of Directors for AG Bell and the Helen Beebe Speech and Hearing Center. In 2004, she founded the Massachusetts Bell's Kids Mentoring Program which continues to bring together approximately 20 children and adults with hearing loss for group activities.

In addition to serving on the Advisory Board of the Gift of Hearing Foundation, she has also served in Advisory Board capacities for Caption Services of Kansas, Media Captioning Services, and Outdoor Explorations.

Sarah received her B.A. in Psychology from Princeton University, was a 1997 Fulbright Scholar to New Zealand where she received a B.A. Honours degree in Education, and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. Sarah is currently an eMarketing Manager with Boston Scientific.
